Animating the flames during the crash scene took the longest. I had to fiddle with the settings for a long time! This time I learned that subtle changes to the cycles node tree goes a long way to improving how the flames look. Hopefully someday the smoke sim will see significant improvements from what we currently have. For now I'll make it work!
