VFX Breakdown: Sink Baby from P.T. (Silent Hills)

I have made a very short vfx clip inspired by the Konami's game, P.T. (Silent Hills). The objective was learn about vfx in general and mixing live-action footage with CGI specifically.

The creature was sculpted in ZBrush and textured in Substance Painter. Rigging, animation, motion tracking, rendering, clean up and compositing was done in Blender 2.79. Filmed with a Nikon D3400. The proxy "real world baby" was done with a log, painter's tape and some wire.

I still have many things to learn.
