Video Games at Your Place- was aimed to be a short test/showcase with the new EEVEE engine.
(and I so badly wanted to try the whole character animation thing from scratch :) )
- I wanted to see how the lighting engine would perform, even with stylized 2D-ish characters and environments, Glad to say it really excels in quick fixes with environment lighting- and making custom shaders with the new addition of Shader to RGB node, I had a blast just messing about with nodes!
How I made it:
- Photoshop brushes and a lot of nodes.... like, a lot of those
- The Scene was Built in the old 2.7 build of blender (Since it is more stable)
- The animation was also done in 2.7 due to a shape key bug in the new 2.8, everything just worked, importing saved files/assets was a breeze, and it all was just a matter of swapping materials :)

What next for the project?
BGE- yes.... Blender Game Engine! When I started out this project the initial test renders were done in the old Game engine.... since the Material nodes really had the same effects as the new EEVEE (Not PBR, but stylized effects)
In fact! here's a video of that:
(Im not going to make a game, just a playable Realtime Slice of this shortfilm -just for fun ^-^)
