Here's an exciting set of material nodes which allow you to composite greenscreen mattes directly in Blender without needing the compositor. This presents a lot of opportunities.

Alpha Blend doesn't show up in screen-space reflections. There is a way round this if you know your way round the lightpath node...

you can double up the object and material with the greenscreen material - and have another version that uses alpha clip (alpha clip DOES show up in screen-space reflections) ... but if you subtract lightpath: is camera view from the output of the MaterialGreenBlueScreen, and put that into your transparentness mixer, you'll end up with a second version of the greenscreen object with alpha clip (OK - not quite as good) that will appear in reflections . . should be OK if the reflectiona are a little blurry.
