CEREBRUM (Episode 4, Part One) UHD

Hi Everyone,
CEREBRUM episode 4, Part One has been released in UHD, targeted to a few film festivals. (Actually, all episodes have been made in 4K stereoscopic views for a future release but have been released in HD for Youtube.) Hope you guys enjoy it.

And what do you guys would like to see in future episodes? What would you most like to see improved? Any suggestion for future episodes? Do you have cool concept arts for robots, environments, or vehicles, or stories that you would like to contribute to this movie and get yourself credited? Any kind of input would be appreciated. :)

  1. Modelling and lighting is impressive. But the storytelling needs better shot-composition/lighting/editing/sound design. I mean: technically it's cool, and does not need much work to make it A LOT better. Checkout "Framed Ink" book for example.

    • Thanks, AKURRA, for your observation.
I couldn't agree more. One thing I had in mind while embarking on this project is to make it as cost-effective as possible.
Trying to perfect just a few aspects of this movie--be it shot-composition, lighting, or sound design--could mean an astronomical difference in the final budget.
Some of the deliberate moves made to save the budget were:
      1. Remove the hairs of Eric the protagonist in the earlier part of the story to save render time, since rendering is done is a commercial render farm.
      2. Simplify the background as much as possible to reduce design elements. (Some were even reduced to a single HDRI by deliberately tilting the camera upward.)
I hope to revisit many of the shots to make it "better" when I can afford time-and money-wise.

But I'm trying to work on improving the editing and sound design, such as locating good voice actors.
Thanks again, AKURRA, for your excellent observation. :)

    • Thanks, "DIDIER."
This film makes clever use of many stock models, assets, and music. Compliments should also go to the creators of such contents.
