  1. Sadly i followed many of their "tutorials" and they are pretty bad. He follows really genealistic steps without paying attention to things like clipping between parts, correct placemente of bones in mechanical models, and other things. I mean, he has a great easy to follow workflow, but most of his "techniques" are obsolete and are never going to be used by professional blender users.

Hi George. You seem to have a high interest in my tutorials. I really would appreciate it if you would in one of your comments define your terms. I try to make sure that while a more advanced person can benefit from the tutorials that I make I have a special interest in beginners being able to work through them.

As far as professionals using these techniques I worked for 3 years as the animator as well as the rigger for Dominus games. I rigged and animated all of the characters for the company. Currently I am the adjunct video game design instructor at a local college. Of the many areas that i teach character rigging is one of them.

When you work professionally but not in an AAA studio George often you are limited in time. You have to rig the characters and animate them quickly so that you can hand them off to the next person in the pipeline. With the free tutorials that I offer I want people be able to understand the process, and then be able use to the process in their professional or personal lives.

Thank you for saying that my tutorials are easy to follow as that is something that I strive for.
Could you point me to detailed free rigging tutorials that shows how to rig character from start to finish that I could try to learn form and emulate? Thanks in advance George.

  2. Thank you for your tutorial, it helped me understand some things. Is there something wrong with littleguycgi.com ? It seems broken.

Would it be alright if I asked a few more questions?

    Thank you.
