    I like the tree even more between the 44th and 47th seconds. Useful for many humorous styles as a tree in the background, in my opinion. :-)

    Hello, It seems very useful.
    Can I export that file from blender into a .stl format to print it in a 3-d printer?

    • Hi Luis,

      I suppose you could export it as an STL (maybe you'll need to enable STL export in the preferences). Depending on what kind of printing I think it would require a lot of support struts, since the top extends over the base. But some 3D print software will add those automatically. Good luck!

        Jan, I am trying to follow your video, but it doesn´t seem that I have the option "Single Vert"--->"Add Single Vert". How can I enable it?

        • Hey Luis, the Single Vert is an option from the "extra objects" or "extra mesh" (I forgot the exact name) add-on which comes with Blender by default. You may just have to activate the add-on in the Preferences.

      Hello again Jan, This have been extremely useful. The thing is that I am going to 3d-print the tree, and I am making like a 3d puzzle of this tree (so it will have several pieces). So I have one more question: How can you cut the trunk of the tree itself? I have seen a bunch of tutorial about the boolean modifier, but it seems to don´t work on an object like the trunk (a mesh, of extruded single verts).

      Hopefully you can help me with this one, I think then this 3-d puzzle would be finished!
