  1. Great tutorial! I found this very helpful to texture a moon using a NASA image by importing the image as a plane and following your instructions, with the exception that I used -180 degrees for the axis deformation of the first simple deform modifier and -360 for the second. I could have stuck to your instructions and just recalculated the normals to outside and it would have had the same effect for that matter. Anyway, Thank you!
