This vid is called Office Fighter its a sequel to an animation I made a couple of years ago. Its inspired by old school TV and Arcade games i used to play as a child. Also inspired by epic stick fight animations like on Hyun's Dojo.
Why I used Blender? I saw a vid by Daniel Martinez and was like what the fudge, you can now do 2d animation inside 3d software! FREE 3D SOFTWARE!!! Thats soooooooo dope! So yeah the environment is simple 3d models with shadeless textures that I hand painted in Blender. The characters and effects are all drawn and colored frame by frame with Grease Pencil. Also I used the Blenders Video Sequence Editor to add all the sound effects. Yeah thats about it, oh and shout out to Quantiversal who helped make the music.
