"Tony Stark" 3D artwork by Yuditya Afandi. Suit based on concept by Phil Saunders, I added my own touch to the suit.

Personal project to study more about likeness and hardsurface modelling based on Iron Man concept by Phil Saunders with some addition touch by me. Learning more about character creation. I used Cycles to render this artwork, First time experimenting with cycles SSS. I also using textures from Poliigon, though most of the texture used are hand painted and generated from Substance Painter. Learned a lot from this project. Especially about likeness, it's certainly one the most advanced thing a 3D artist can do.

  1. Dzjeee! The likeness is very striking! 20 years old ... you are on the right track, young man! Keep it up and we will see a lot more beautiful things from you.

  2. The likeness is veeeeerrry close. Not perfect . . . but it doesn't have to be. You really did a great job on this. And the suit, of course, looks great with your personal touches! For those of us who don't model humanoids, much, it's great to see the awesome talent for those who can do it. Nice work!!
