now i get that warning :) i see the error a lot when im modeling, accidently pressing alt v or something. Seems quite handy. I needed to check the video twice before understanding what was happening. Reading & watching at the same time is really handy. Perhaps first show the info, than do the function. Now it was 2 things almost at the same time. The video is nice and short, that is nice. BUt its to fast to comprehend
I agree. While Jan's tips are useful, they are very difficult to watch, because the text caption is split away from the Blender action. While you're watching the action in the Blender UI, the text caption changes and you missed a step. If you read the text caption, you can't watch the action in the Blender UI. Just overlay the text on the UI so the viewer's eye can stay in one place!
I watch through Jan's tips once; they're short and fast and that gives me a sense of whether it's something I already know or it's magic that surprises the heck out of me. Then I go back and re-watch at 1/4 speed (click the settings gadget in YouTube). There's no music or sound to get distorted and you can actually see the transitions and read at the same time.
