Hello,

I made this add-on to access most needed folders in Blender. This is a convenience utility add-on that makes accessing essential Blender folders easy.

It is implemented as a floating menu and a menu under the "File" menu. This add-on works both for Blender 2.79 and 2.80 versions And it should work on Linux and MacOS but I did not test it under those platforms.

You can open

  • Current file’s folder
  • Blender’s installation folder
  • Render folder (if set)
  • Scripts (add-ons) folder
  • User’s Blender resource folder
  • Temp folder that Blender uses internally

I had this idea for an addon and add it to the window manager. Instead of bookmarks, my idea is to add bookmarks per project. That way your personal bookmarks dont get cluttered which links per project. I have only made a small start though.

This one seems handy, but i would like this option in the window manager. Like when opening for images of blend files.
