  1. Simply press "0" while still in preview mode (pink edges) and the cut will stick to the center.
    Similarly, pressing "1" or "-1" will move the cut to one or the other edgeloop on the side, and fractions like "0.5" will move the cut halfway between the center and one of the side loops.
