I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. AMD sponsoring OpenCL developer is something I've been waiting since AMD start using Blender to show of their new products. Beyond eager to see what can be extracted from OpenCL.

  2. The ideas for GSOC projects include improvements for the Boolean Operator. I second that. I already had the impression that the Boolean operator had gotten a lot worse in 2.8. I'm using it to do OpenSCAD-like stuff in Python, and I run into problems all the time, often with trivial CSG operations and then I have to figure out a translation vector (often like 0.001 off on some axis) which unscrews stuff.

  3. Hi, I would like to buy a model dinosaur from Blender and add them to video, and replace the face of an actor with another photo face. Everything with transparent background.
Someone can help me step by step.....? thank you !
