   As an autodidact and cheapskate i had a look at GP already, and my recommendation would be to hesitate assigning any training too soon, since if you look at the current options you have e.g. for weight painting your GP drawing in order to rig it, currently there is only half a brush, compared to the many options one has with reular mesh weight painting. Doing a smooth gradient weighting is almost impossible at the moment. I’m pretty sure there are plans to extend the functionality on that, but until then i consider GP to be beta.

   At the moment all information about GP should be for free.
   Otherwise he hype will end soon.
