Ever wondered how to set up microdisplacements in Blender? There's actually not much to it, and in this quick video I show you how. For this quick tip I'm using the Node Wrangler add-on (to be able to see the noise texture settings by previewing that node only) and the "extra meshes" add-on for the round cube that I'm using for the example. You don't need those add-ons for the microdisplacements to work.
Please be aware that when using GPU rendering, microdisplacements might take a big chunk of memory and what you have on your graphics card it might not be enough.
