Hello blenderheads !
In my latest tutorial I show how to make a nice realistic curtain for your blender interior.
First creating a basic shape with the wave modifier and taking it to the next level with blender's clothsim and shapekeys:Have fun creating curtains for your windows (even if you're a hardheaded Linux user)
and have full control on how close or open they are !Jarek D(DJ)

Nice tutorial dude!
Can you please post the node setup/ material node tree of the curtains?
I realy need some realistic translucent material for some photorealistic leafs I want to creat.
Thanks for uploading this cool tutorial! :)
Thanks. The second part is in progress. Very soon on YT. Will cover the shader for curtains used in this scene.
I am glad to hear that. Do you also want to make a tutorial about "super realistic translucent leaf materials" ? There are tutorials on "make alpha for leafs", "make even backfacing leafs" everywhere, but there is no tutorial on realistic thick / thin leafs. Is it even possible to do that in Blender?(I mean realistic translucent) I tried to play with SSS-Shader and with Translucent-Shader but the results wont look very realistic and I found no node-trees for leafs... My goal is to make some foliage like this:....
