We can all remember when we first clicked the blender icon and were faced with an interface that scared the pants of us.I think the most important advice you gave was the last one, stick with it and don't give up. The rewards are so great and all of us in the blender world are essentially beginners because we never realise the power of the software, there's always something new to learn or something that we never knew about this great software. Oh and the community is like no other, everyone helping each other up the Blender ladder!
I itried that but it wasnt until bl 2.5 when the first major UI overhaul came that i could understand it better. The horrible horizontal UI was just bad
I did all of them :) All 7 Mistakes. But fortunately not again anymore. Great advise. And by the way I like the Color Grade on your Video. Nice Skin Tones. And don´t tell me you didn´t work on it :)
Sorry but im not totally convinced by the intro. Blender has gotten harder an tougher for hardware. Also yah they fixed the tons of shortcuts, they simply took 75% out!!!! WTF is that BS... THats is the most lazy ass fix to less shortcuts. Why is it a problem anyways? If you dont use them, than use the menu's, now they crippled my workflow because i onlu 25% left of the shortcuts. I think its even less than that. I really dont get that part. Taking them out is counter productive! BAD MOVE BLENDER!
PS instagram is 1080x1080 better give propper info guys
One thing i did like, what was that sliding addon to compare images. I got that in a render engine i use but cycles uses a different method
Continuing the number train... UPGRADE to make proper use of bl 2.80 what horrible experience on my 3 yr old macbook pro. 2.79 run smooth as butter but 2.80 is just a dead end. Its crashes with about 1.5 of the file size 2.79 can handle flawless and the devmode is just laggigy AS
PS still a good addon for this is Amaranth, this will warn you for any missing textures and material and such
