Blender Development Fund, projects for first half 2019

The Blender Foundation shares how they'll be using the Blender Development Fund donations in 2019. (Hint: they're getting really close to 25k/month now, which is their first goal. Are you a supporter yet?)

The development fund has had a big boost in the past months. Recurring donations are steadily climbing up to EUR 25k per month, which makes it possible to keep supporting the core developer team and to look into starting new projects.

    Every donation counts, either reoccurring or one offs, it all adds up at the end of the day. Anyone who is a routine user of Blender should try to reach deep and find some cash to donate to Blender any way they can. Or buy some 'swag' from the shop to show your love of Blender.
