Hey again,
it's holiday season and I made a 100% Procedural knitwear shader that can be combined with usual image textures
- highly flexible
- extreme detail with micro-displacement
- looks great with cloth simulation
3 Example-Patterns included

Thanks Simon for this awesome shader!
That looks really cool! How generous to give this for free!
Nice work! Quite realistic looking. The only issue I am having is that the node after "Ad Fluff" that seems to affect the displacement somehow is showing up as "Undefined".
You are probably using Blender 2.79, thanks for pointing this out.
I added a file for 2.79 on Gumroad, it needs a few different settings :)
Well 2.79 instantly crashes with the file. So thats not the cause
You can still append data like objects or materials etc. from 2.8 files with 2.79. I assume that's what they did because then the described shows up.
I fixed that now with a separate file to download '2_79-Knittr.blend'. That should load and run with 2.79
Thanks for the quick response and fix.
Thanks for the headsup!
Excellent shader there. Good job and thanks.
Haha .. it's great but its not free lol
@Mustapha Nail, yes it is! Just fill in 0 ;)
Thank you so much for sharing this shader! I am so hyped to try it. I have no idea how you come up with all these settings. Pure witchcraft.
