The Beauty of Science: PI visual explanation

Nicolas D'Amore writes:

Here is a short visual explanation about the"PI" number.

This is the fifth chapter of a series I’ve started a while ago, called “The Beauty of Science”.
The first chapters were about optical illusions; right now I’m approaching math, that is a topic a lot of people hate without even knowing why.
I think that if you learn math in the proper way, it can be very easy and even interesting!
That’s what I aim for with this little demonstration.
Made with Blender 2.79, rendered with Cycles.

    Hi,
Something is wrong with this version.
The red line shifts while the arc is rolling.

    Please correct the following:
Because the lenght of ~3'14 seems to be OK the angular speed of the arc or the quartered arc has to be visualized correctly.

    See you soon

    Best Regards,
    Fab
