Animatable Pixel Matrix Display

Cody writes:

Inspired by the recent Blender made movie, Next Gen, I have created a material which allows you to dynamically bake an animated texture into a pixelated display. Once baked, you have full control over the look of the pixels. Size, roundness, smoothness, resolution, can all be changed after the fact.

Head on over to the Blender Artists forum where I have shared my setup. It's free to use however you like.

Cody Evan

I have been studying art and design, with a strong focus on digital mediums for a little over 15 years. Primarily self taught, I majored in design in college for a short time. Ultimately, life took me down a different career path. However, I am still very much passionate about the arts, and enjoy being a part of the community unchained in the capacity of an enthusiast, and in helping to facilitate growth in other aspiring artists.
