Animatable Pixel Matrix Display

2

Cody writes:

Inspired by the recent Blender made movie, Next Gen, I have created a material which allows you to dynamically bake an animated texture into a pixelated display. Once baked, you have full control over the look of the pixels. Size, roundness, smoothness, resolution, can all be changed after the fact.

Head on over to the Blender Artists forum where I have shared my setup. It's free to use however you like.

I have been involved in the design scene since 1999. I studied CGI in college, but consider myself to be self taught with the help of the community. Working primarily freelance gigs in the past, life ultimately took me down a different, more stable, career path. However, I am still very much passionate about the arts, and enjoy being a part of the community unchained in the capacity of an enthusiast, and in helping to facilitate growth in other aspiring artists.
