Crowdrender v016: New and improved network rendering

We are super stoked (Australian slang for happy) to offer the blender community the sixth revision of our network rendering addon for blender :D. We're also celebrating that we've lasted this long with a model we made of this rather cute computer.

If you haven't used or even heard of our addon before then the cute computer is quite relevant. If you have some old hardware lying around (it may or may not look like our render), why not try our addon out and put your all those computers (even the old ones) to good use? Our addon helps you build a render farm and has been said to be about the easiest software out there to do that.

Crowdrender takes about five to ten minutes to set up, its one download, one install (on each computer). We've got full documentation on our website.

oh and its free.... you just need to sign up for an account ...... also free....

Download it, try it, and then let us know what you think, we've been working hard with artists just like you, freelance, hobbyists, studios, all the colours of the blender rainbow :)

I'm a software engineer, I've worked on numerous technologies over the past 10 years. I started out working on full motion flight simulators and then worked with embedded systems. I now work on building an add-on to support rendering using multiple computers over internet/local networks. I started using blender in 2009 and have done small projects with it since then, however, crowd render, our network rendering add-on is by far the biggest adventure with Blender to date.
