Building a Star Trek Inspired Corridor in Blender

Curtis Holt writes:

In this video, we take a look at how to create modular, concentric corridors, taking inspiration from Star Trek. The video is split into two parts.

In the first part, we will discuss the modelling theory of building circular corridors, including how to do angle calculations to get segments fitting together perfectly.

The second part is a timelapse where we take a simple corridor segment and give it extra layers of detail. We then take this further by creating a beautiful render in both Cycles (2.79) and EEVEE (2.8) to compare the final quality.
