Sub Surface Skin VFX

In this tutorial we look at creating a Subsurface Skin Effect (similar to the bad guys in Iron Man 3).

To achieve this creepy Effect, It would help to have some tracking markers on the face but the effect will work as long as you can get a decent track.

We then use a Material Node for the Base Illumination, some Images for the Veins and if you want you can add some parallax to the effect and make it even better.

You could also animate the "Base Illumination" to make it look even more strange and creepy.
