Greensboro Opera TV spot

I just finished a project for the Greensboro Opera in North Carolina.

All I had to start with was a flat piece of art (by Marine Loup). I was given free reign to create a 30 second spot from scratch. The video is currently running locally on TV, in movie theaters and on social media. The project was primarily done in blender, with only a little type animation and clean-up done in After Effects. The main shader is a slightly modified version of the pencil shader by josef on Blendswap.

The render was done with the Blender Internal renderer (geez it's been a while since I used that) as well as incorporating the Freestyle renderer. Many props to the Blender community for whom without, I would not be able to do what I do now.

And many thanks to the David Holley and Greensboro Opera for giving me such a great opportunity.
