Screencast: 2-hour Low-poly study room with Blender 2.79

Dan Rockstreet writes:
I was inspired by Alex Trimpe’s Low Poly Room found on dribble and he gave me permission to make this tutorial series based on his creation.
The tutorial is separated in 8 parts in real-time recording in order to be able to follow along.
- Parts 1-6 take care of the object/mesh modelling of the room and all its content.
- Part 7 will “materialize” all objects with colors
- Part 8 shows how to set the lighting, world color and apply UV images
I apologise not to provide spoken explanations so I turned on the Screencast Keys – you should know the basics of Blender to be able to follow along.
A note on Screencast: sometimes some keys are not displayed when pressed, especially when transforming an object following by an axis constraint (like, first “G” for grabbing and then “Y” to constraint the movement along the Y-axis). You can see, though, that the axis is highlighted accordingly.
Note: the embed below is an 8-part playlist.
