Every second week, I have a "create a procedural material" challenge in my Facebook group. Even if I'm not able to win since I decide who wins... I like to take them myself :).
This time it was to create an "easy to use Group Node for creating apple Peels". So, I did that too. It went rather great and when seeing the reactions I got from it, I decided to make a in depth tutorial on how to use it, so feel free to go through the documentation and download the shader. Of course it's CC0 and free for all purposes to use or change. (The image above is the shader.... no photo :D)

Gorgeous solution!
Thank you :)! Hope it will be of use to you.
Wow.
Looks very realistic.
Good job.
I once tried to make pancakes but organic shades are hard to make.
Thanks :D!
Pancakes sounds like an interesting subject. I might try that one :). Yes, it can be a bit tricky and especially things like pancakes since they also need some Subsurface Scattering to look good.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Awesome shader.
