The Bricker add-on generates some pretty amazing LEGO-like models.
Bricker is an addon for Blender that converts any 3D Mesh into a photo-real 3D brick model. You can also use Bricker to generate animated brick models from keyframed animation, simulations (such as fluid, smoke and fire, or soft-body animations), armature, and much more.

Love it!
Any chance of a reduced functionality free/trial version?
Hi, try first to have a look at the remesh modifier:
https://www.blendernation.com/2015/02/12/lego-fluid-effect/
https://www.blendernation.com/2014/04/16/2-lego-like-animations-using-remesh/lego-style-animation-using-remesh-modifier/
The building of the model is done with another addon called AssemblMe.
It would be great to see this in 2.8, with Eevee! ( the release notes mentioned that the script should be ready for use in 2.8 when the beta is released )
@Bart Why was my comment about the Remesh modifier deleted! I think users ought to know about other ways to do things in Blender without a paid addon.
It wasn't deleted, but held in moderation by the spam filter. No need to jump to conclusions like that.
Sadly not avaiable for OSX...
If it's system dependant it's more than just an add-on to me.
Actually Bricker works well on all platforms! In fact, it was developed on a Mac and ported to other platforms. Where did you read this?
From the source : https://blendermarket.com/products/bricker?ref=2 (the FAQ)
But reading more carefully I thin the the part talking about OSX is the updating tool within the add-on, not the add-in it self.
And the first question of the FAW is abour OSX ^^'
I really must read more carefully :p
just bought it! (together with plastic library and assemble me)
it works and looks great! having fun making my first tests :)
I only encounter some issues when I try to render a bricked object with materials from the library. Nine times out of ten I get some "cuda crash"
I hope to solve this! Btw... very happy overall of this product
Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial for the Bricker Addon, for blender 2.8, I recently got it and I don’t really know how to make it work. I tried playing around with it but I didn’t really get anything.
