So… are there different versions of Fast Carve for 2.8 and 2.79, or does this version of Fast Carve work in both Blender 2.79 and 2.8? I only see one version of Fast Carve on your GitHub page.
Hi, as I said in the video I added a new branch on my Github for version 2.8.

The functionality for 2.8 is the same but the API of Blender 2.8 has changed a lot, so I had to migrate the addon to a new version for Blender 2.8, that I added to a new Github branch.
The article links to the 2.8 version too.

having trouble… click on primitive mode… Pollyline / Difference…
Ctrl + left click, just makes the extrude shape based on the poly line, but does not cut.
