Will the old background images system be kept as an option ?
For modeling mechanical objects like aircrafts for instance, it is better (I’ve always hated the Max system, remember 20 minutes tuts just for setting background images, while in Blender it’s done in 30 seconds without any help).
Hi, have you tried using an empty of. An image type instead? It’s as fast and easy to set up, is visible in wire frame, you can enable xray for it and change the opacity. But is a physical object that you can manipulate and line up a lot easier than the background images. The moment I discovered that I completely ditched the background image system with its finicky settings.
