CC0 Archviz - 100% free high-quality 3D models

27

Donation-supported, free (CC0) content is becoming more and more popular. After HDRI Haven and Texture Haven, there's now a new site for free architectural models. Enjoy!

José Sena writes:

Hello there.

For the last years my friend and I have been using Blender on our little archviz studio here in Brazil. During this time so many people sent us email asking for our models and we always though that it would be great to release them for free but we never had the time (until now).

We have planned 25 models at this "pre-founded" stage (some are on the website right now and the rest will be posted on the next days). Since our website is donation driven it will be the users who decide if we continue doing it or not.

Hope you guys appreciate it. If you have any comments or doubts about it, send us an e-mail or just comment bellow. Don't forget to helps us spread the word (and, if possible, support us on Patreon)

  1. I think before start you should prepare a lot more models and better quality (those on your site are clunky) to make your website profitable.
    False start.

    • We do have more models but we are going to realease them during this week. As for the quality, we put a lot of effort on our models. If you could provide a feedback a little better than "clunky" it would be great.

      • 'Clunky' is my impression. It's about the proportions between different parts of the model. It just not look professional, it lacks experience. Look at some good reference photos or arch model sites (e.g. chocofur.com). In my opinion to get sponsors you have to to study and work much harder.
        The initiative is great.

          • I am not a master but I am not blind. My real name and my work is not your business.
The site is great idea but the models are not PRO. Telling these guys that their 3d models are great when they are not is wrong. Blender deserves better crowd funding model library.

  2. I'm really excited about this resource and your current selection of models, though understandably small, look great. Selection so far is very mid-century modern in style...I think that's the right choice, can't go wrong with the classics! Please ignore this troll posting "false start". Thanks for the effort and keep up the good work, can't wait to see the site grow!

  3. nice cc0 but where is blend files ? obj is for universal object model. maybe you must add furniture too like table, bed room, kitchen, cupboard with dress, toilets, etc. it will be interesting.

    • Hello. Since our main goal is to help as many people as possible and we can't afford high server costs for now, we are releasing only the most common file formats. There's a goal on Patreon for .blend files with Cycles materials (right now the goal is a little high but depending on how the site goes maybe we put it on a lower goal).
About the other ambients, we'll release models for them soon. Just keep an eye on it.

  4. The models are very good and it's free. People claiming about it because they are trolls, there's no reason to worry about it.

It's really good to se the community working hard to help each other, i'm pretty sure there might be some artists out there whom can't afford expensive models.

Keep up with the good work Sena!

    Also, é do Brasilsil!

Congratulations José Sena, your work diserved respect! - I'm just started with Blender and I'm learning everyday to get better on it and someday contribute with the community as you did. Thank you so much for your support and inspire us to help the Blender community. There will always be people trying to stop your objectives, just don't let them do that. Greetings from the Dominican Republic!

    PS: Excuse my English :D

    • Thank you so much. I don't let the trolls put me down. I know I'm still not doing how much I wanted to do for the community, but I'm trying hard to get better and better and help people out. The Blender community (and developers, of course) are so great and helped me a lot (still helps). I'll continue doing my best to give back to the community.

P.s.: Your english is just as good as mine.
