Wild West Creature Creation (Blender Timelapse)

3

Zacharias Reinhardt writes:

Hi everyone!

In my new video you can watch the timelapse of the entire creation process of my wild west creature. I created the artwork for the last "Wild West" Artstation challenge and I got an honorable mention for it, YAY!. The video includes sculpting, modeling, texturing and shading the creature in Blender 2.79.

The creation took me ~35 hrs. and nearly everything was created in Blender. Some texture and post processing work was done in PixPlant and Photoshop.

Enjoy!

  1. I just skimmed through it, but the workflow looks fantastic; the form and material/texture work is also great!

I think... you should have secretly rigged a few parts and some of the face, and when the music fades out on the turntable sequence, the character should look towards the camera, smile and give a wink. Just an idea.
