Combat Knife Game Asset - Part 4 - Texturing

0

Chris Plush writes:

In the 4th and final part of this step-by-step game asset series we’ll be using Substance Painter to texture our combat knife. We'll start off by importing the model to Substance, and then we'll bake all the maps we'll need for texturing. After that we'll set up masks to isolate each part of the knife and then we'll texture it using all the awesome tools Substance has to offer.

Once we're finished texturing I'll show you how to export the textures and then also set up a render inside Substance Painter. Final files are included on my site as well, including a blend file of the final textured knife showing you the simple node setup you'll need for the exported textures.
