Over the years, playing with the Blender Game Engine, I saw some People who just wanted to add some RPG and Adventure Elements to their Games, and don't know how to start with. How to make a Conversation? How to make a Quest? ...
In 2015, I had an Idea about a Node based Quest and Dialog System for the BGE. Once set up, it should be easy to create a Talk without writing someting but the Dialog Lines.
In the last Weeks i made some Improvements, and fixed some small Bugs. I thought about Examples for advanced Usage and extended the Demo. And finally i made a Tutorial Video, how insert the System in a Game, and how to use it.
I invite everyone to try QnD. :D
QnD is free to use, even commercial Projects. A Name in the Credits with Hint to QnD will be fine. If You also let me know which Project it is, would be great. You can improve it for your Needs, but please do not publish it outside of you Game.
You'll find all the links to download on Blender Artists or blendpolis.

But BGE will be deprecated in 2.8
Sorry to say but this is a bit late
BGE is discontinued
Better off using something else like Armory3D thats free now
And? Should i throw everything into the Trash then? The current BGE in 2.79 and UpBGE are still here, and People use it. Also It's not forbidden to have Fun with it, even after 2.8 is out.
QnD lives for 3 Years now. A Quest and Dialog Sytem is a usefull Part for a Storytellig Game. None of the comming Engines have a System like these. Maybe i can give someone a Inspiration to build one.
Until this happens, you welcome to use this.
There are plenty of people who will not upgrade to 2.8 anytime soon and I would hope that there would be some way of porting the QnD (and other BGE works) into Armory3D.
Wooo what a great thing!!
I've few days now implementing a dialog system on the bge, i was struggling on how to track the python dictionary mentally. The node based thing is great to plot dialogs and visualize them. Its just great! You made my day. Thank you.
Funny thing, at the beginning of the video had a bad feeling on all those logic bricks. I'd actually jumped most of the video. I'm glad i didn't close the page. Thanks again for the good job you did. Long life to BGE
Ill give it a try now.
