Technique behind the Cherry Tomatoes image

It was a long time, since I worked on the project, that has to be just a beautiful image in the end. But I thought about that for some time.
The night of work produced this picture:
And it was so warmly received by the community that I decided recreate the technique and record the process of my work.

Tomatoes are my favorite fruit! And this is just wonderfully created. Very nice technique and the end-result is fantastic! Thank you for sharing your great work!! (Makes me hungry now.) ;)
