Hi Blenderheads!

I'm so happy i finaly got my first reel together! So i thought i share this on my favorit Blender blog. Most of it (well everything exept the veeery last scene) was made with Blender and Krita. Some of the 2D animations are made with grease pencil (cant wait for 2.8!!!) but most of them are drawn in Krita and put together in Blender. And of course i used a little freestyle (cycles). I hope you enjoy it and feel free to give some feedback! Thanks for watching!

  1. Such a distinctive and original style !

The skeleton is very intriguing ! It reminds me the closing credits of a comedy series in which a skeleton was sitting in front of a typewriter machine for (I suppose) symbolising the writer's block. Can't remember the name of this series, but whatever it be, yours is very original !

Is the black and white astronaut/cosmonaut part of a short film ? Whish I could see him much longer !

    • thank you very much for those nice words!
The skeleton is part of my first atempts of animation back in 2010 (or so). I made it without any concept , so its possible I accidentally copied it somwhere ;)

And yes the astronaut was originaly a short film for a contest, but i didnt finish in time so its on pause right now (and because i made the stroy in a hurry i dont think its very good...) but i think about redoing it as soon as i have a better storyline. but there are some projects i have to attend to first.

      • Neither copying or inspiring were in my thoughts ! The qualtity and personality of your skeleton just triggered some obscure memory area in my brain. Praise is difficult :=)

Just saw this on you website : "I like to do waaaay too many things." So, seems the astronaut will still float in your mind for a while !
