Armature drawing also gets some love in Blender 2.8! Clément just implemented "Transparent Bones" so we can see through overlapping bones for easier rigging/animating. Meanwhile Jeroen implemented a quick X-Ray switch for selecting bones that get occluded behind the deforming mesh.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

Great! Before these movies I thought that Blender 2.8 will have only small changes of interface. But now I see, that it is revolution with real improvements for workflow and efficiency.

Yes 2.8 will be a another major mile stone - I put some projects on hold for the new UI and workflows and cannot wait that it finally is coming now!
Also I wait with some projects (for example tutorials on youtube) for 2.8. Waiting for it is killing me.
