Earlier this weekend we relaunched the Blender Artists forum. Following the crowdfunding campaign in January we migrated all user accounts and forum threads to the new platform, and you can now sign in with your existing account!
There's still work to be done: most notably the server is being hit hard (almost 100k pageviews/day now - people might be exploring/getting used to their new home) so it needs some tuning or even an upgrade, some posts are missing, we need to tweak some design issues and the ads system is not active yet (and the bills ARE already coming in ;-). That said, we're open for public some come in and join the conversation.
We're still working on some documentation to give everyone an easier landing, but most things are pretty self-explanatory. Enjoy!

actually I can't, and resetting password didn't help although I'd been automatically logged in it turned out I still can't do that on other computer or another browser
I think you've figured it out, right? For future reference: usernames may be changed to match the Discourse requirements (no spaces, emoji's etc). If that happens, log in with your email address instead of your username.
