Hey Everybody! In this video I will be showing you how to create this cool wallpaper of an abstract object that looks like it could be a small fracture of a much larger object. For this project, we will be utilizing METABALLS and their unique properties to help us get some truly unique and random shapes. There are many methods that could be used to create these abstract shapes and this is just one of them. However, I find this the most fun method because you can really let you creativity run wild and wind up with something truly amazing.

I like the concept, and the effort-to-result ratio is good for somebody without a lot of time on their hands but still wants to make something good looking. Thank you for making the tutorial!
No problem, thank you!
I completely agree. You can also try doing this with some basic shapes to get really interesting renders as well. Here are a couple of other examples I have done if you want to check them out.
