  1. I'm most interested in that screenshot above. how did they get that freestyle line to render the grid floor and also the lines seem to get thinner the close they get to the screen. Looks awesome, I wish the article mentioned how to do that.

    • It's not a screenshot. I drew it. Though with Freestyle and a bit of compositor magic I'm sure it could be done. It was just faster for me to do it by hand in this case.

Not a bad idea for a tutorial, though. Maybe I'll put something together.

  2. That's really easy to do, just add noise modifiers to the thickness in the line style panel. The grid would likely be a subdivided plane with all edges set to freestyle edge, the axes an object.

  3. This list should include the best Blender teacher on the net (at least in my opinion), which is tutor4u. Clean, clear, didactic and very professional.

  4. My go-to source for learning Blender has been George Maestri's Blender Essentials course on Lynda.com. It's a comprehensive step-by-step course with exercise files that you can use to follow along with. He has loads of fantastic courses on Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Sketchup and much more. From beginner to advanced levels - I just love his courses! Lynda.com is free for anyone who has a public library card with my library. I don't know if it's the same for others? But, it's an awesome resource for so many things!
