WBMD 2018 Artistic Challenge Winners!

We hope everybody enjoyed World Blender Meetup Day (WBMD) this month and along with it, the WBMD 2018 Artistic Challenge in partnership with AMD and Lynda.com. We challenged artists in Australia, NZ, Europe, Canada, Mexico, and the USA to create an image using Radeon ProRender for Blender with a theme of “The World”.

Our first-place winner is:

Nathan Boder from Biel/Bienne Switzerland – Image of industrious ants

Nathan has won a Radeon Pro WX 9100 generously donated from AMD for his “World” inspired image.

Our two runners up are:

• Aled Brown from Wales, United Kingdom – Radeon Pro world sphere
• Christoph from Lhor, Germany –Blue island planet

Aled and Christoph will both receive an account with Lynda.com entitling them to 365 days of training for their “World” inspired art. Lynda.com includes courses on Blender and other digital creation tools.
