Blender Eevee Test: Interior Scene

6

An amazing Eevee demo by Leroy Xie

The Interior Scene test in Blender Eevee, it's amazing, all in realtime. The original scene is the 3ds max version that I download from internet, obj to blender, and rebuild lighting and material in Eevee. By the way, still have some flickering and aliasing on the edge with highlight. hope it's better when release.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

    • I tested the Temple scene from the 2.8 development site, and it was displaying perfectly smoothly in the viewport. I am using a fairly old i7 2600K, 16GB RAM, and most importantly a Zotac GTX1060 Mini, 6GB. Windows 10 showed the GPU at only 25% usage, even while dragging the viewport about like a maniac! In the best traditions of Blender, it seems like Eevee is going to give good performancce even on modest hardware, except perhaps for crappy laptops with no dedicated GPU.
