The Blender Foundation has just posted a teaser for a 2.8 event that'll happen on Monday: if you pay close attention to the graphic on the new page you can see the words '2.8 Code Quest'. What is it? Share your theories here and we'll see who had it right on Monday :)
The event will be revealed at 4PM Amsterdam time - international times can be found here.
I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
