As usual great tutorial.
You may want to look into this brilliant add-on by Michael Landers at 'Small Blender Things'. I have been using it for a while and it saves so much time and so many mouse clicks.
This is the link: http://blog.michelanders.nl/2016/09/NodeSet-import-substance-painter-textures-into-Blender.html
Enjoy,
Michael.
(Not the author of the add-on).
Thx for the comment, will definitely have a look!
The node wrangler has an option ready for that . ctrl shift T
Oh amazing, learned something new, thx!
Unfortunately the node wrangler shortcut does not work on my Mac Pro.
I end up getting an error message each time I try.
Michael.
I got an error for an existing Principled shader node (when I changed some values), but after I added a new Princiled Shader node and then pressed Ctrl + Shift + T, it worked nicely.
I also created a new video for this topic:

Thank you. That does solve the problem.
I was thinking that the shortcut would automatically open the principal shader as it does with the add-on I mentioned.
Very useful.
Mike.
Thank you for your video.
Would it be possible to see a comparison using the same HDRI as Substance Painter?
They are usually located in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Allegorithmic\Substance Painter 2\resources\shelf\allegorithmic\environments
Ah that's interesting, will put this to my tutorial list
Thank you!
