Skating Lessons: Promo for our Animated TV show, 'Andy Pirki'

Hi Friends . Below is one of the promos for our 3D Animated TV show ‘ Andy Pirki’.
The production part of it was entirely done with ‘Blender’ and other opensource softwares. We have been using Blender for more than 7 years now and are excited to share our works with the Blender community.

We will be sharing the 2D Animatic ( using Blender Grease Pencil ) of this video tomorrow . Stay tuned for more contents in the future .

  1. You could make it less traditional by adding more natural moves not that imitate pixal or other disney studios. You could make the message deeper.
    On another note what open source programs do you use besides blender?

    • Hi Miguel . Thanks for the tip :) . As for you question , we use opensource for all stages of production , expect audio .

      I have tried to to keep it as simple and straight forward as possible . The article has a list/links of tools tat we use extensively (expect for the audio part . but the tools i have listed for audio are top notch softwares which can be used for production) . It also includes backend tools needed for servers and such, which you might find useful.

  2. Did you need any special effects for the motion blur of the spinning caveman? If yes what?
    Or it just came out this nicely with real mb?
