Creating Depth through Freestyle using Modifiers

In this tutorial, I explain how to add a couple of modifiers to Freestyle linesets, and create the illusion of depth in a scene. A popular comic inking convention is to use thicker lines and more detail if objects are closer to the camera, and thinner, less detailed lines if objects are farther away. This is an easy way to simulate this technique, and render clean linework which can later be incorporate into comic panels, or other 2D illustrations.
