I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Have to tell this, because it's been so many years and I never could've listened to Blender podcasts because of so much derping they include. I have tried so many times, but every time closed it and no single full episode been able to listen.

It starts with the first 1 minute when there are 5 dudes speaking at the same time like in some youtube kids Minecraft videos. Just can't listen. :/ It can be the problem for other people also, or maybe other people enjoy it and I am different, I hope this is the case, so you will have your audience. I enjoy podcasts where there is the content arranged with "propriety". (Sry could not find better word for that.)

  2. If the new deps graph paves the way for things like py node objects that dynamically update, this will be the biggest feature of 2.8.
