Hello everybody, thought i would share these two chess sets i made in the last days as a personal exercise.
The .blend file can be downloaded here on my gumroad page; it has a modern chess set and a classic one, plus all the objects and lights i used for my final images. Just a note, i used some heavy color correction in gimp after the final renderings, the results straight out of blender will look way different.
For me this was mostly a modeling & lighting exercise, but now that it's complete i know i will probably not use the models again. So rather than have them forgotten somewhere in my hard drive i thought it was best to share them for free, i'm sure somebody will find some good use for them!
